Specialized Cardiology Services For Ongoing Health Care
Minnesota Heart Center’s Specialty Clinics allow us to take a targeted approach to providing in-depth information and continuing care for our patients. From addressing risk factors and adjusting medications, to guiding our patients through treatment and rehabilitation services, our Specialty Clinics offer a wealth of information and support for our patients.
Coumadin Clinic
Coumadin Clinic or Anticoagulation Clinic helps patients who need “blood thinners” adjust their dose of Coumadin (warfarin) as efficiently and safely as possible. Our advanced equipment provides test results within minutes giving our clinical nurse specialists immediate access to the data. We can then meet with each patient individually to discuss the results of their blood tests and adjust their medications as needed.
Preventive Cardiology Clinic
The Preventive Cardiology Clinic addresses the risk factors that may cause heart disease to develop or to reoccur. Each of these issues is addressed in detail –emphasizing patient education and advanced medical testing.
C.O.R.E. Clinic for Heart Failure Management
The C.O.R.E. (Cardiomyopathy Optimization Rehabilitation and Education) Clinic delivers comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to patients with cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Our unique, phase-based program guides each patient through a series of steps that provide in-depth assessment, treatment, education, and support.

Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic
After our patients receive a pacemaker or defibrillator, we carefully manage their care in our Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic. We regularly check the devices in our office or by phone making sure that we make all necessary adjustments to ensure that the pacemaker or defibrillator is working properly.
Cardiac Rhythm/Arrhythmia Management Program
Our electrophysiologists, or cardiac rhythm specialists, address complex rhythm issues for our patients. After consultation, the electrophysiologist will help determine whether additional procedures such as electrical testing, monitoring, device implantation, or medication are necessary.
Woman's Heart Program
This program is designed specifically to address the unique issues of women’s heart health. Female cardiologists are available to discuss how to prevent heart disease, how to assess cardiac symptoms that concern you, and how to maintain optimal cardiac health following a diagnosis of heart disease
